Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 8, X1 Yoga Gen 5 laptops, ThinkCentre M90a AIO desktop announced ahead of CES 2020


Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 is set to kick off from 7th January and some brands announced new products which will be showcased next week. On similar lines now, Lenovo has announced its new ThinkCentre M90a All-in-One (AIO) desktop, ThinkPad X1 Carbon and X1 Yoga models with 10th Gen Intel Core vPro processor, and more.

Lenovo’s new ThinkCentre M90a AIO desktop features a 23.8-inch FHD display, is powered by 10th Gen Intel Core U i7 vPro processor paired with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM with up to 2TB HDD/1TB M.2 OPAL SSD. The graphics duties are handled by up AMD Radeon 625 GPU. It comes with hidden cable management and features Lenovo’s PrivacyGuard that protects sensitive information on the screen, automatically blurs the screen and apart from this, the AIO features Lenovo ThinkShield which is an end-to-end security solution. Furthermore, it has an array of I/O ports, supports WiFI 6, comes with optional services, features Dolby Atmos speaker system, is Always On, Always Connected, and more.

Lenovo also new models of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and Yoga 5 laptops with the latest Intel processor, Dolby Vision display, Dolby Atmos display, PrivacyGuard, and more. These are one of the first Intel Athena Certified laptops. The Yoga Gen 5 laptop sports a CNC aluminum chassis and has a 360-degree hinge. These have Mil-Spec tested build quality and Lenovo calls these laptops as “productivity powerhouses”.

Pricing and Availability

Lenovo ThinkCentre M90a AIO desktop is priced starting at US$ 1099 (Rs. 78,865) and is expected to be available from June 2020. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 8 is priced starting at US$ 1499 (Rs.1,07,570) and the ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 5 is priced starting at US$ 1599 (Rs. 1,14,746). Both laptops are expected to be available later in 2020.

Alongside, Lenovo also announced the ThinkVision T34w-20, ThinkVision P27h-20, ThinkVision T24v-20 displays which are expected to be available during March-April 2020.
