Huawei has announced the MediaPad 7 Vogue, the company’s latest tablet in the MediaPad series. It has first mentioned at the  official MWC press release back in February and leaked in March. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS display, similar to the Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite that was launched in India last November. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core K3V2 HiSilicon processor with 16 Core graphics and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s Emotion UI 1.5 on top. It has 3G connectivity through a SIM card slot and supports voice calls. It has a 3-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and has sleek aluminum metal unibody design. Huawei launched the Ascend Mate (MT1-U06) in India earlier this week at a price tag of Rs. 24,900, and we brought you the review of the device recently. We found the Ascend Mate as one of the best phablets under Rs. 25,000. Samsung launched Galaxy Note 2 in India last year, which is still one of the popular phablet in the India market. The company is also promoting the phone through EMI offers and Smart upgrade offers. The Huawei Ascend Mate would give a tough competition to the Note 2 mainly due the large screen and the price tag. Huawei has finally announced the Ascend P6, the company’s latest flagship smartphone with metallic body at an event in London. It comes with a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display based on in-cell LCD screen technology and MagicTouch that is responsive even when wearing gloves, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with new Emotion UI that comes with panoramic shoot, facial recognition photography, Themes, enhanced Easy Panel with profile selection. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, F2.0 aperture and 4cm macro and 1080P full HD video recording and has IMAGESmart software with lot of features including HDR video recordin. It packs a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with auto facial-enhancing capabilities for self portraits. It is just 6.18 mm thick and weighs just 120 grams. Huawei Ascend Mate Benchmarks

Huawei launched the Ascend Mate with a 6.1-inch HD display in India earlier today. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier today, here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Ascend Mate is powered by a the Huawei’s own K3v2 processor developed by HiSilicon Technologies from Huawei. It has four 4 ARM Cortex A9 cores based on ARMv7 architecture. The chip is based on 40nm technology. It has a 16-core Vivante GC4000 GPU. Huawei uses the same CPU and the GPU in the Media Pad FHD.

The Huawei Ascend Mate was launched at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January and has then evaded the Indian market until now. Today, the company has launched its ambitious phablet device with a massive 6.1 inch screen at a price tag of Rs. 24,900, just weeks after Samsung continued their trend of releasing phablet devices with the Galaxy Mega series. The Indian market seems to have likened to the big screen phenomena and the Ascend Mate is hoping to address at least a part of it. The device just landed in our labs and here is our ritualistic unboxing video below –

It was spotted on Flipkart along with a price tag earlier this week, but the page was removed later. It packs a 6.1-inch 720p display, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s EmotionUI 1.5 on top. Huawei had been teasing the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone on their official Facebook page for over a week, now the popular Twitter user evleaks have leaked the specifications of the device. Images of the phone leaked back in May. The device would reportedly come with a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, 4 cm macro which takes macro shots closer than most of the smartphone cameras, 5-megapixel front-facing camera with face enhance option and a new Emotion UI. We already reported that the Huawei Ascend Mate would launch in India priced under Rs. 30,000. The phone has now been priced in India at Rs. 28,900 on online retail website Flipkart. The Ascend Mate has a 6.1-inch 720p display, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)  with Huawei’s EmotionUI 1.5 on top. It is 9.9 mm thick and weighs 198 grams. Who are the top five smartphone makers in the world? Samsung and Apple would be anyone’s guess. Evidently, because of their dominant presence in the market and ever rising sale figures. LG follows next in ranking. Who do you reckon follows in the 4th spot? Blackberry, Nokia or HTC? Well, its Huawei. The Chinese telecom company is the fourth largest smartphone maker in the world, by units !

Yet, why is it that you and I rarely see a Huawei phone in Indian stores, when shopping for the latest smartphone ? Why is it that the 4th biggest smartphone maker is not visible in one of world’s biggest smartphone market? Huawei hopes to change this brand image, soon. Starting this month, Huawei will begin introducing its star smartphones and tablets, in India. The Chinese phone maker has slotted a bunch of big launches in the next quarter, too.

First up is the Huawei Media Pad 10 Link that was launched in India recently. A 10.1 inch screen tablet priced at just Rupees 24,990/- . The Media Pad 10 runs on 1.2 GHz Quad Core Huawei Hi-Silicon Processor. Operating system is the Android 4.1.

Huawei has officially launched the MediaPad 10 Link, the company’s latest flagship Android tablet in India. It went on pre-order in India last week. Huawei is calling it ‘the mini theatre’. It has a 10.1-inch HD (1280 x 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Huawei Hi-Silicon Processor with 16 Core GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It has 3G support via SIM card slot,  Dolby Surround Sound and packs a 6600 mAh battery that promises 6 hours of continuous gaming or 8 hours of continuous video playback. Huawei Ascend W2 press image surfaces

Press image of the Huawei Ascend W2 has surfaced online. The phone appeared on a Chinese forum last year and specs of the phone appeared last month. The Huawei Ascend W1, the company’s first Windows Phone 8 device leaked last October, which as unveiled at the CES 2013 earlier this year.
