Huawei Ascend P7, the company’s flagship smartphone is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart and eBay. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS touch-sensitive display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, is powered by Huawei’s own 1.8 GHz quad-core processor with Mali-450 MP4 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Huawei own Emotion UI 2.3 on top. Huawei and Russia’s MegaFon plan for 5G launch at 2018 World Cup

Huawei and Russian operator MegaFon have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the development of 5G technology with a view to a potential launch in time for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The MoU builds on a partnership between the two companies that stretches back to the deployment of GSM in 2002. The MoU is likely to mean 5G services could become available to participants and guests at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and as part of the MoU, the two companies will work together to plan, build and deploy 5G network infrastructure. Huawei launched the Honor Holly smartphone in India recently. We brought you the photo gallery, battery test results and the benchmarks of the smartphone recently. Here we have the camera samples from the smartphone. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Unlike Huawei smartphones like the Ascend Mate, this has a MediaTek camera UI seen on several MediaTek-powered Android smartphones. You get HDR, Panorama, Face Beauty and several modes. Huawei launched the Honor Holly budget smartphone in India recently. We brought you the photo gallery and the battery test results of the smartphone last week, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The Honor Holly is powered a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with four ARM Cortex A7 CPUs clocked at 1.3GHz per core and has Mali 400 GPU. It has a 5-inch HD display, comes with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Emotion UI on top. Huawei Honor 6 Unboxing and First Impressions

Last week Huawei unveiled their latest attempt to crack the European market; dubbed the Honor 6, it’s something different from Huawei’s usual handsets and unlike the Ascend range, the Honor 6 (and presumably future devices in the range) do not come with Huawei branding. The Chinese manufacturer has previously suffered bad publicity in the UK and Europe – over allegations that it sends user data back to servers in China that the Chinese government can access – and the Honor 6 is designed to offer the complete Huawei package without any negative stigma attached.
