Huawei introduced its flagship Mate 9 smartphone at en event in Germany earlier this month, it also introduced a high-end variant of the phone called the Mate 9 Pro in China earlier this week, now it has introduced Mate 9 Lite, a cheaper variant with dual rear camera arrangement. This uses a 12-megapixel with 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF for 0.3-second quick focus along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for capturing depth information. Now it has introduced Mate 9 Pro in China, which is a version of the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 without the graphite finish, but it still has the second generation Leica dual-lens camera with 12-megapixel RGB sensor, 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and Hybrid Zoom, featuring 2x magnification, dual-tone LED flash, laser auto focus, optical image stabilization (OIS) and uses Huawei’s own ISP. Huawei Fit Android and iOS compatible fitness watch with heart rate sensor, multi-sport tracking announced

Huawei today at its Mate 9 event also introduced Huawei Fit, a fitness watch with heart rate monitoring, automatic step counting, sleep tracking and support for multi-sport activities such as Walking, Running, Cycling, Treadmill and Swimming. It also provides comprehensive and customized running programs and offers real-time coaching; after a run the watch displays VO2 max, recovery time and a training score. This gives you an indication of cardio-respiratory fitness and a recovery time assessment. Huawei just unveiled Mate 9, its latest flagship smartphone at an event in Germany, as it had promised. It packs a 5.9-inch 1080p display with 2.5D glass, is powered by an Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC with IntelliSense i6 sensor hub and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with Emotion UI 5.0 on top and Google DaydreamVR support. Huawei has announced Enjoy 6, successor of Enjoy 5 that was introduced back in October last year, in China. It has a 5-inch HD AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Enjoy 5. Huawei Mate 9 press renders surfaced recently. Now a new render of the Huawei Mate 9 Pro with a curved screen has surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. The high-end Mate 9 Pro is said to pack a 5.9 Quad HD curved screen, compared to 5.9-inch 1080p screen on the standard Mate 9 and will also support Google’s Daydream VR experience that is built into Android 7.0 (Nougat). Up until a few years ago, fingerprint sensors were regarded as some of the cool stuff that you got to experience in Sci-Fi movies and TV shows and not something that could be a practical implementation. However, since then, we have seen countless implementations of fingerprint scanners on smartphones and with each passing year, even the lower end smartphones are having this feature by default. While there have been improvements in terms of accuracy and speed, not many companies are recognizing the huge potential that can be unlocked. Huawei Kirin 960 Octa-Core 16nm SoC with Mali-G71 MP8 GPU announced

Huawei has announced Kirin 960 SoC, it’s top-end SoC at an event in Beijing today. It is an Octa-Core SoC with four ARM Cortex A73 Cores that can be clocked up to 2.4GHz and four ARM Cortex A53 Cores that can be clocked up to 1.8 GHz. Huawei Enjoy 6S with 5-inch HD display, 3GB RAM, fingerprint sensor gets certified

Huawei introduced Enjoy 5S smartphone in China back in December last year, now the Enjoy 6S with the model number DIG-AL00 has been certified by TENAA. It has a 5-inch HD display, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the predecessor, but this is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Huawei’s Honor Brand today announced Honor Pad 2 and Honor Watch S1 along with the Honor 6X. It has a 8-inch Full HD display, is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI on top. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with single LED flash and comes in both WiFi and 4G variants with voice calling capabilities.
