Huawei’s Honor brand just announced Honor 6X, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone at an event in China, as expected. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 655 16nm processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1. It has a 12-megapixel camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), LED flash and a secondary 2-megapixel for achieving depth of field and background blur. Honor BLN-AL10, which is rumored to be the Honor 6X surfaced on TENAA last month surfaced on TENAA showing off dual rear cameras, unibody metal design and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Now the certification site has revealed all the specifications of the phone. Geekbench has revealed that it will be powered by Kirin 625 SoC. Huawei is all set to unveil Mate 9, the company’s new flagship smartphone in the Mate series and the successor of last year’s Mate 8 smartphone at an event in Munich, Germany on November 3rd. According to latest renders, this will come with dual rear cameras with Leica SUMMARIT lenses, independent depth measurement chip, proprietary hybrid-focus technology, full manual control and RAW support, similar to the P9 and P9 Plus.

Huawei’s Honor brand introduced its flagship Honor 8 smartphone in China back in July. The smartphone in coming to India soon, check out the unboxing video of the smartphone.
Huawei has announced that it will start to manufacture smartphones in India in collaboration with Flex starting next month. Starting from the first week of October 2016, the Flex manufacturing plant in Chennai will manufacture one of the Honor smartphones models.
