After rumors, Huawei has finally introduced the Watch 2 2018, successor of last year’s Watch 2. Even though the design and specifications are the same, this has support for eSIM instead of a nano SIM in last year’s 4G version of the Watch 2. This lets you call, send and receive messages and use 4G for apps without connecting it to a phone. Watch and phone share a single number similar to the Apple Watch 3. It also comes with dual microphones for improved call quality, but you can also connect it to a Bluetooth headset to make calls.

Huawei’s Honor brand launched the Honor 7A budget smartphone in India last week, and the phone went on sale in the country today, exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 8999. The company has announced that it was sold out in under 120 seconds or 2 minutes on Flipkart, making it one of the bestsellers on Flipkart in the affordable segment. The next sale for the smartphone is scheduled next Tuesday, 5th June 2018.

Huawei’s Honor brand today scheduled an event on June 6th in Beijing where it will introduce it new Honor Play series smartphones with AI capabilities. The company says that it will have a breakthrough technology. It will also introduce new Honor 9i smartphone (not to be confused with the Honor 9i that was launched in India last year).
Huawei is busy prepping to launch the MediaPad M5 tablet as the device is now spotted passing through the FCC. According to the FCC listing, it sports an 8-inches display, support for eSIM. Flipkart has confirmed that Honor 7A will also launch in India alongside the Honor 7C next Tuesday. It was introduced in China last month at 799 yuan (US$ 126 / Rs. 8,250 approx.) for the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version with single rear camera and 999 yuan (US$ 158 / Rs. 10,315 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB version with dual rear cameras.
