Reliance Jio announces 5G partnership with Google Cloud

During their 44th annual general meeting (AGM), Reliance Jio announced a new partnership with Google, where the two companies will collaborate to integrate Jio’s 5G technologies with Google Cloud’s scalable infrastructure. Google Pay adds tokenization support for SBI, IndusInd, HSBC and Federal Bank

Last year, Google Pay introduced a new feature called tokenization, that enabled direct card payments on the app via a Tap-to-pay feature for Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank. The feature now has expanded support to 4 more banks – SBI, IndusInd, HSBC and Federal Bank.

Google announces Android choice screen update to show more Search Engines for EU users

In 2018, Google introduced an Android choice screen for users to select their Search engine of choice when setting up an Android phone, but its implementation still received many complaints from third-party search engines. The company has now updated it to allow third-party search engines to sign up for free and will soon feature more search engines in the choice screen.
