During their 44th annual general meeting (AGM), Reliance Jio announced a new partnership with Google, where the two companies will collaborate to integrate Jio’s 5G technologies with Google Cloud’s scalable infrastructure. The European Commission has launched yet another investigation into Google for possible anti-competitive practices. The technology giant is being accused of possibly favouring their own online display advertising technology services when it comes to providing third-party access to user data, which would violate existing competition laws.

Google has announced a bunch of new updates that are coming to Android, bringing new features across the mobile OS. These includes updates to the Google Messages app, improvements to the Google Keyboard, Android Auto, Voice Access functionality and more.
Last year, Google consolidated their suite of productivity-focused applications, rebranding it from G Suite to Google Workspace. In 2018, Google introduced an Android choice screen for users to select their Search engine of choice when setting up an Android phone, but its implementation still received many complaints from third-party search engines. The company has now updated it to allow third-party search engines to sign up for free and will soon feature more search engines in the choice screen.
Every few months or so, Google has a Pixel Feature Drop, where they bring new features for their Pixel smartphones. The latest one adds support for creating short clips of a starry night sky, rolls out Locked Folders support in Google Photos and more.
