Looks like Google is finally going head-on with Apple in the tablet space, with the just announced Nexus 9 in partnership with HTC. The Nexus 9 comes with a 4:3 aspect ratio screen, unlike all the previous Nexus tablets and hence becomes a legitimate competitor to the iPad mini. Designed in collaboration with HTC, the Nexus 9 features a soft touch back and a metallic frame, lending a premium look and feel for the device. The 8.9″ 2048×1536 screen is supported by the 64-bit Tegra K1 Processor that accompanies the monstrous Kepler GPU. This combination reminds us of the recently launched Xiaomi MiPad that has a similar screen aspect ratio and specifications.

Google is making Android 5.0 official in its latest teaser video. The video released by Sundar Pichai, SVP, Google on Google+ shows an array of desserts starting with the letter ‘L’ auditioning for Android L.
We had already seen several leaks about a Motorola-made Google Nexus 6, including a render and even some live images. Now a press render of the smartphone has surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. This shows the side profile of the smartphone. It has also popped up on AT&T website (Via) as a placeholder, which shows the Motorola Nexus 6 name and a possible contract price of $49.99. Apple and Google have become the most valuable brands in the world, as per Interbrand’s 15th edition of the Best Global Brands Report. The iPhone and iPad maker which is valued at $118.9 billion, has topped the list followed by Google which is valued at $107.43 billion. While the former increased its brand value by 21 percent, the latter increased by 15 percent.
