BlackBerry teased a dual-curved slider smartphone with a large touch screen display at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year. The Slider got codenamed Venice back in June and was rumored to come with Android OS. A render of the smartphone running Android Lollipop surfaced in July. BlackBerry has launched Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite, its luxury smartphone in India. The Porsche Design P’9983 smartphone originally announced last September and the Graphite Edition was introduced back in April. It has colored elements and hand-wrapped leather on the back door cover. The keyboard has an exclusive keypad with specially crafted glass-like keys with the durability of rigid synthetic material, blackened glass and a graphite stainless steel color frame. BlackBerry has announced that it has entered into a long-term patent cross-licensing agreement covering their respective products and technologies. As a part of this cross-licensing agreement, BlackBerry will receive a license fee from Cisco.
