Today, Apple unveiled yet another addition to their M1 family of Apple Silicon processors, called the M1 Ultra. It is their most powerful SoC till date, featuring two M1 Max chips connected via their new UltraFusion technology, and comprising of a 20-core CPU, a 64-core GPU, and a 32-core Neural Engine.

Apple launches iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro series in new green colour variant

At its ‘peek performance’ event, Apple introduced the iPhone 13 series  in green and the iPhone 13 Pro series in  alpine green colour variants. These will join the Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight, and (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 13 series and the Graphite, Gold, Silver and Sierra Blue colours in the iPhone 13 Pro series. Apple introduces iPad Air (5th Gen) with 10.9-inch Liquid Retina Display, M1 chip, 5G support; India price starts at Rs. 54900

Apple today introduced its new iPad Air (5th Gen) at its online event, as expected. It features the same 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, integrated Touch ID sensor in the top button, but this replaces the A14 Bionic 5nm Chip in the predecessor with the Apple M1 chip, same as the iPad Pro and also adds 5G option, compared to 4G in the predecessor. Apple introduces new iPhone SE with 4.7-inch HD Retina Display, A15 Bionic and 5G support; India price starts at Rs. 43900

Apple just announced the new iPhone SE, the company’s latest smaller iPhone, as expected. The successor to the older iPhone SE that was introduced back in 2020 comes with a 4.7-inch HD Retain screen with Haptic Touch and still retains the Touch ID fingerprint sensor below the display. However, this replaces the A13 Bionic with the A15 Bionic and also adds 5G support. Apple said to introduce iPad Air 5th Gen with M1 chip, Mac Studio, new monitor running iOS and more at its event today

We just have few more hours for Apple to introduce its new products at its ‘Peek Performance’ Spring event. Earlier rumours revealed that Apple will introduce the iPhone SE 3 with 5G support, and A15 Bionic chip, but it will retain the same design as the SE 2 with a Touch ID sensor embedded into the Home Button. Apple may launch iMac Pro and Mac Pro with Apple Silicon in 2023

Apple is expected to launch multiple hardware devices in 2022, according to earlier rumours. However, Ming-Chi Kuo, a popular Apple analyst, has predicted that an iMac Pro and a Mac Pro may not be one of them as they are expected to launch only in 2023.

Apple will reportedly allow Face ID module repairs at Apple Stores and AASPs soon

In yet another consumer-friendly move, Apple is reportedly planning to allow authorized technicians to officially repair the Face ID module on iPhones without needing to perform whole-unit repairs. The company will provide Apple Stores and AASPs with the necessary parts and tools to perform the repair, and it will be available for the iPhone XS and newer.

Apple may release 13-inch MacBook Pro with M2 chip, Mac Pro with up to 128 GPU cores and more in 2022

Apple has announced a new finance-focused feature on the iPhone called Tap to Pay that is designed for merchants in the US. It will enable small businesses to large retailers to use their iPhone to complete transactions using Apple Pay, contactless credit and debit cards, and other digital wallets with a simple tap.

Apple reports record quarterly revenue in FY Q1 2022; iPhone, Mac, Wearables reach new all-time highs

Apple has reported quarterly revenue of $123.9 billion, an increase of 11% from a year ago, and setting a new quarter revenue record, due to the most innovative line up of products and services ever. It posted a net profit of $34.6 billion, up 20.13% YoY and quarterly earnings per diluted share of $2.10 for the financial year Q1 2022 that ended December 25, 2021. iOS 15.4 beta brings Face ID support with a Mask On; Universal Control available with macOS Monterey 12.3 and iPadOS 15.4 beta

After releasing iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 stable update earlier this week that brought bug fixes and security updates, Apple has released iOS 15.4 beta that finally brought  the ability to use Face ID while wearing a mask. Apple says that it uses unique features around the eye area to authenticate when you enable the feature.
