Microsoft has started testing its upcoming Arrow launcher in private beta. It has three screens – People, Apps and Notes & Reminders. People screen shows recent and Frequent contacts, a dialer on the top and a menu to open contacts app. The Apps screen shows recent and frequent apps. The Notes & Reminders screen lets you add notes and add a reminder for them. All the screen have a row in the bottom for user-selected quick access apps.

Bethesda Softworks released Fallout Shelter, a free strategy game for iPhone and iPad last month. It also revealed its plans to launch the Android version soon. Now the company has announced that the Android version will finally release on August 13th. Google has released Spotlight Stories 360-degree movies app for iPhone. This was originally developed by Motorola Mobility’s Advanced Technology And Products (ATAP) and was first introduced with Motorola Moto X as Spotlight Player back in 2013. It was released for Android in May. It has 360-degree movies created by critically-acclaimed filmmakers that offer 3D and 2D animation, full-sphere surround sound, and uses phone’s sensor fusion techniques. Skype for Android has been updated to version 5.6 that brings a refreshed look. It now lets you see more chats on the Recent tab that allows you to catch up on more conversations, especially when you have multiple chats going at the same time. You can now view friends who are online, on all the screen with unified avatars that is also now rounded. Chat bubbles now have new color. This gives chats more clarity, says Skype.
