Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro

Lenovo has launched the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro,  the company’s latest high-end Android tablet in Yoga series in India along with the Yoga Tablet 2 series. It has a 13.3-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) WQHD IPS Display, powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 Processor (up to 1.86 GHz) and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has four modes – Hold, Stand, Tilt or Hang and even has an integrated projector that can project content up to 50-inches. It features a powerful 8W JBL sound system with bass subwoofer located on the back. Lenovo has launched Yoga Tablet 2 models in India. These were announced last week and come in 8-inch and 10-inch variants with Full HD (1920×1200) IPS displays and Android 4.4 or Windows 8.1 options. YotaPhone with 4.3-inch LCD and e-Ink screens launched in India for Rs. 23499

After teasing the launch, Jumbo Electronics, IT telecom and consumer electronics retailer and distributor in the UAE, has partnered with Flipkart, to launch YotaPhone, a dual-screen smartphone manufactured by Yota Devices in India. It has 4.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) LCD capacitive multi touch main screen and a 4.3-inch (360×640 pixels) E-Ink rear screen. HTC announces Android 5.0 Lollipop update coming to One (M8) and (M7)

HTC has confirmed that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is coming to One (M8) and (M7). The company has revealed that both the smartphones will receive the update “within 90 days of receiving final software from Google.”

Google Nexus 6 coming to 28 countries including India starting 2014-end

Google introduced the Nexus 6, the latest flagship Nexus smartphone made by Motorola few hours back. Today Motorola has confirmed that the Nexus 6 will roll in 28 countries, including India, across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America starting later this year. Google announces HTC-made Nexus 9 with a 4:3 8.9″ screen and Tegra K1

Looks like Google is finally going head-on with Apple in the tablet space, with the just announced Nexus 9 in partnership with HTC. The Nexus 9 comes with a 4:3 aspect ratio screen, unlike all the previous Nexus tablets and hence becomes a legitimate competitor to the iPad mini. Designed in collaboration with HTC, the Nexus 9 features a soft touch back and a metallic frame, lending a premium look and feel for the device. The 8.9″ 2048×1536 screen is supported by the 64-bit Tegra K1 Processor that accompanies the monstrous Kepler GPU. This combination reminds us of the recently launched Xiaomi MiPad that has a similar screen aspect ratio and specifications.

Few weeks back Flipkart revealed exclusive launch of dual screen YotaPhone in India through newsletter sent to the its affiliate partners. The smartphone was also listed on Flipkart website last month. Today Flipkart has confirmed that it is indeed launching the smartphone exclusively in India and has posted a teaser image too. The YotaPhone was first introduced at the MWC 2013 year and went on sale in several counties in December last year.
