YU launched the YUPHORIA smartphone earlier this month. We already brought you the review of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.21 GHz per core and has Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400MHz. It has 2GB RAM, 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). Let’s find out the performance in a range of synthetic benchmark tests.
Sony Mobile introduced the Xperia C4 Dual, a new mid-range smartphone in the Xperia series in India, along with the M4 Aqua. Sony Mobile has announced the Xperia M4 Aqua Dual, its first mid-range waterproof smartphone in India. It was announced at the MWC 2015 earlier this year, and packs a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). Samsung has just been granted a patent for a dual-OS notebook that has a built-in phablet dock. The theoretical notebook would for example allow users to use Windows 10 by default and then switch over to Android OS and control their smartphone by placing it in the dock.

According to a new rumor that has surfaced, Google is not planning to launch a new Nexus tablet this year however it might go on to introduce two new Nexus smartphones. The devices will be made by LG and Huawei and are codenamed Angler and Bullhead respectively.
