Samsung Gear Fit Hands On and Photo Gallery

Samsung introduced the Gear Fit, the company’s first wearable fitness band earlier this week at the MWC 2014. We got to check out the device at the event. Unlike the Gear watch series with a square screen, this has a wide 1.84-inch (432 x 128 pixels) Curved Super AMOLED display. The display is bright and the navigation is a smooth. Just like the Gear watch, this one has a Pedometer, Heart Rate sensor, Accelerometer and Gyro sensors. You can remove the Gear Fit unit easily to change the strap. Check out the hands-on video below. Samsung announces Gear Fit, a fitness band to help you be fit

At the MWC 2014 Unpacked 5 event in Barcelona, Samsung has just announced the company’s latest flagship – Samsung Galaxy S5 and alongside the not so impressive Galaxy S5, it has also unveiled its fitness band – Gear Fit in addition to the already existing two smartwatches – Gear 2 and Gear Neo.

SanDisk Corporation has announced the company’s new 128GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I (Class 10) memory card for smartphones and tablets at the MWC 2014. This is the world’s largest capacity microSD card for smart devices. The first 128MB micro SD card was launched in 2004, it took just 10 years to bring memory capacity of 128GB. Huawei announces TalkBand B1, ‘Talk and Track’ Companion

Huawei is announcing a lot of products at the MWC 2014 event and one among them is the new and innovative Huawei TalkBand B1. Huawei’s TalkBand B1 is a smart watch that comes with a flexible display and comes with wireless calling facilities. Samsung Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo smartwatches with Tizen OS to go on sale in April

It wasn’t too long ago that Samsung announced its first generation Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Aimed at competing with the likes of Pebble and anticipated competition from Apple, the original Galaxy Gear was a relative failure because of its high price point, poor battery life and limited compatibility. Fast forward five months and Samsung is all set to show off its next gen Gear 2 smartwatch that eschews Android for the Korean company’s homegrown Tizen OS.

The new smartwatch will retail in two variants ie the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo. The Galaxy branding has been dropped because of the transition from Android to Tizen. Specifications of the watch remain largely the same and include a 1GHz dual core processor, 4GB storage, 512MB RAM and a 1.63 inch (320 x 320 pixels) Super AMOLED touch screen. The watch also incorporates S Voice, a heart rate monitor, pedometer for health related applications. It also has IP67 certification for water, dust resistance. Motorola Moto G Flip Shell in White – Pictures and Video

The Moto G Flip Shell is Motorola’s take on the flip cover that is oh-so-popular in the Indian market. After unboxing the Indian retail version of the dual SIM Moto G, we took the normal shell for a spin and also tried out the new Flip Shell. The white flip shell we bought has a really cool texture on its back and even has magnets to close the front cover, which will offer protection. We found it to be of really high quality, so take a look at how it fits on the Moto G in this video –

Motorola Moto G Shell: Lime Yellow, in pictures and video

Having just unboxed the Motorola Moto G, the Indian retail version that supports two SIMs, we also got to try the new Moto G shells. We had ordered them separately from Flipkart, the normal coloured replacement shell for the back and the Flip shell that protects the back AND the front. But first, lets talk about the normal shell. Samsung launched their first smart watch – Samsung Galaxy Gear back in IFA 2013 alongside their current flagship – Galaxy Note 3. A couple of weeks remain for MWC 2014 and there are clear indications that Samsung will unveil their next generation Galaxy S series flagship – Galaxy S5 at MWC 2014. Apart from the obvious fact, Samsung is also rumored to be launching their next version of smart watch – Galaxy Gear 2 at MWC 2014.

Motorola and Flipkart partnered to launch the most expected Moto G in India earlier today starting at Rs. 12,499. The Moto G comes only with a back rear cover. You can buy the rear sells and Flip covers separately. Moto G accessories, including the Back Cover, Grip Shell and the Flip Cover has been priced on Flipkart. Motorola started selling Grip shells for Moto G in the US last month at $19.99.
