Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 specs confirmed

The hardware specifications of the two edition of Samsung Galaxy Mega phablet was leaked just a couple of days ago. Today, we have received images of what looks like the AnTuTu benchmarking results of the upcoming Mega 2 smartphone.

The unit involved in the benchmarking carries the model number SM-G750F, which reveals that the device is one of the variants of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2. Samsung and Barnes and Noble launch Galaxy Tab 4 Nook Tablet, starts $179

As announced earlier, Samsung and Barnes and Noble have unveiled their first co-branded Nook tablet. Dubbed as Galaxy Tab 4 Nook Tablet, it has  a 7-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution screen and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

Samsung and Microsoft reportedly discussing settlement over patent dispute

Earlier this month Microsoft filed a patent lawsuit against Samsung over royalty payments. Now according to a recent report from Korea Times, both the companies are apparently in talks to come to an agreement that would out an end to the lawsuit.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 spotted with 6 inch display

Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has been spotted in the database of China’s Telecommunications Equipment Certification Center with new specifications.  Previous reports had stated that the phone will have 5.9 inch screen with HD display. However, the latest leak is revealing that the Galaxy Mega 2 will boast a 5.98 (6)inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720.

After the iPad happened, Samsung was the first company to release a 7 inch tablet that could make calls. A new form factor was born, and a long time has passed since then. Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition officially taken down from Play Store

Apple and Samsung to end all their patent disputes outside the US

Samsung and Apple announced in a joint statement that they will drop all ongoing patent lawsuits outside the U.S. However, the smartphone rivals have not yet settled the dispute. The two companies have sued each other in a total of eight countries viz, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Netherlands, the UK, France, and Italy, and all these cases are being dropped, without being settled and without any cross-licensing agreements being negotiated.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 launch scheduled for 3rd September ahead of IFA in Berlin

Microsoft files patent lawsuit against Samsung over Android royalties

Microsoft has sued Samsung in U.S. District Court, over patent licencing deal. The company claims that the South Korean giant has stopped making royalty payments on time last fall and is refusing to pay interest for the delay.
