Lenovo’s upcoming ThinkPad branded Windows 8 tablet just made a stop over at FCC for testing. Engadget previously got their hands on the tablet at Computex and report that the 10.1″ tablet is powered by an Intel Clover Trail CPU.

China Unicom , the second largest carrier in China is about to become the second carrier to get access to the latest Lenovo smartphone. Powered by Android 4.0 ie Ice Cream Sandwich , the device is called the LePhone S680. The handset has recently undergone the required certification process which has revealed most of its specifications.

Lenovo has announced IdeaTab S2 10, their first tablet that runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 10-inch (1,280 x 800 pixels) LED-backlit , Lenovo Mondrian UI and is powered by 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8960 dual core CPU. It is just 8.69mm thick and weighs 580 grams. Engadget reports that Lenovo will be launching a Quad Core , Tegra 3 based Android tablet by the end of the year. The OS of choice is not spoken about but we wouldn’t be surprised to see Honeycomb finding its place on the tablet with an update to Ice Cream Sandwich following soon.
