Google Play Games app is getting a new update (v5.10) which brings features like new setting to disable autoplay videos, new search, removed settings to disabled Quest and Request notifications (v5.9), added Snake, YouTube links under games in the carousel (v5.8), White nav bar (v5.8). Google renames Chrome Duplex to ‘Duet’ to avoid confusion over Duplex phone-call

At the Google I/O 2018 event the company introduced the Duplex Assistant  AI-based phone call technology. The feature uses Assistant to make phone calls and book appointments for users when asked. Then again, Google’s Chrome team has officially renamed the experimental ‘Chrome Home’ interface to ‘Chrome Duplex.’ To avoid any confusion, the company is now renaming Chrome Duplex to Chrome Duet. YouTube picture-in-picture will be available to all Android users

YouTube TV introduced a picture-in-picture mode with Android 8.0 Oreo back in November and has also extended to its Premium and Music services. The videos are minimised to a corner to let you keep watching while browsing around other apps. Google at the I/O 2018 has demoed the Google Duplex; this tech is where Assistant dupes itself as a human, call a business and get you a reservation. To make it sound like more human has added in human ticks like “umm.” However, concerns were raised regarding how ethical this feature is. Nokia promised the face unlock feature on the recently launched Nokia 8 Sirocco, 7 Plus, Nokia 6 (2018) but the feature is nowhere to be seen yet even after months since the launch. However, Nokia Mobiles on Twitter has confirmed that the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and the new Nokia 6.1, as well as the Nokia 8, will get face unlock as an OTA update in the coming months. Google Duo 36 confirms multi-device and tablet support, drops support for Jelly Bean

Google Camera update brings Google Lens integration to Pixel and Nexus phones

Google is rolling out a new update to its Camera application bringing the version number to 5.2.025, and this brings the much talked Google Lens integration to Pixel and Nexus phones.
