Android dominates global smartphone shipments with 88% share in Q3 2016: Report

The latest numbers released from marketing firm Strategy Analytic shows that the Android market captured a record 88% of global market share in third quarter of 2016. Moreover, the report also claims that global smartphone shipments grew 6% annually from 354.2 million units in Q3 2015 to 375.4 million in Q3 2016. The worldwide tablet market continued to fall as vendors shipped 43 million units in the third quarter of 2016 (3Q16), a year-over-year decline of 14.7%, according to preliminary data from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Tablet Tracker.

Apple introduces new lower-end 13-inch MacBook Pro without Touch Bar, starts at Rs. 1,29,900

Along with the new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro models, Apple has also introduced new lower-end model on the MacBook Pro without Touch Bar and TouchID. This has the same trackpad, backlit keys and Stereo speakers, but this has only two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports for power or other connectivity such as VGA, Ethernet and more through separate adapters. Apple iPhone sales in India up over 50% in FY 2016
