Apple has launched the Apple Watch in India, as it promised last month. It was unveiled back in September last year and went on sale in several countries in April earlier this year. Apple Watch has Retina display with Force Touch and Ion-X glass, a hardened glass for protection. The 38mm version has a 1.34-inch (272 x 340 pixels) AMOLED display at 326ppi and the 42mm version has a 1.54-inch (312 x 390 pixels) AMOLED display at 326ppi. Apple is planning to launch the Apple Watch in India next week, according to a report from ET Tech, citing senior trade officials as sources. The report also says that the latest iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones are expected to launch by October 10th or 11th, a month ahead of Diwali. Apple is looking to triple the sales of the new iPhones during the festive quarter, October to December, says the report.
