Snapdeal has received a funding of $200 million Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP), Iron Pillar and other investors. The latest round of funding values the company between $6.5 billion and $7 billion, making it the second-highest valued startup in the country. Flipkart owns the top spot as India’s largest e-commerce company and values at nearly $15 billion.
Mix Radio that was acquired by LINE messenger in 2014 from Microsoft is shutting down. The move comes from the company as the service is not turning out to be financially viable. Mix Radio was originally created by Nokia in 2007 and then owned by Microsoft.

Microsoft just announced Lumia 650 and Lumia 650 Dual SIM smartphones running Windows 10. Microsoft has partnered with Acer to pre-load productivity apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive and Skype on select Android smartphones and tablets from Acer. The company said that it will start the pre-installing the apps from second half of 2016.
