After teasers, Tecno has launched the Spark 9 Pro in the new Spark 9 series globally, as the successor to last year’s Spark 8 Pro. It has a 6.9-inch Full HD+ screen with 90Hz refresh rate and retains the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. It has 4GB of RAM, but we can also expect a 6 GB RAM model. Every year, Apple releases a new report that talks about the security measures and protections built into the App Store. Thanks to their App Store policies, in 2021 the App Store blocked nearly $1.5 billion in potentially fraudulent transactions. They also managed to block over 1.6 million risky and vulnerable apps and app updates from defrauding users.

motorola just launched the moto e32s, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the e series, in India, after teasing it earlier this week. The phone has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate with 89.03% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, has up to 4GB RAM, 16MP main camera, 2MP depth and a 2MP macro camera and an 8MP front camera. Xiaomi announces end-of-support for Redmi K20, Redmi Note 7 series, Mi Pad 4 series and more

Xiaomi has added new smartphones to its EOS list. To those unaware, the devices included in the end-of-support list do not receive any firmware update. Xiaomi says that it might not even respond to security vulnerability reports for the devices included in the EOS list. Typically, the company provides security updates for at least 2 years from launch.

According to a new report from Canalys, the Indian PC market (which includes desktops, notebooks and tablets) shipped a record number of devices during Q1 2022, growing 48% YoY. The market shipped a total of 5.8 million units during the quarter, and the top 5 companies were HP, Lenovo, Acer, Dell and Samsung.
