After shutting down Tweetdeck app for Android and iPhone in 2013 and Tweetdeck for Windows in 2016, Twitter has confirmed that it will be shutting down Tweetdeck for Mac on July 1st, 2022. The company has its own Twitter app for Mac, and said that it has decided to wind down the TweetDeck for Mac app to continue focusing on improving and bringing new features to TweetDeck. Google to bring Meet features to Duo; will merge the two apps later in 2022

2 years ago, we reported that Google was looking to replace the Google Duo app with their work-focused Google Meet app. The company has now confirmed the same, where later in the year Google Meet will replace Google Duo. In the meantime, Google Duo will be updated with all the features that are present in Google Meet over the next few weeks.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 with 12.4-inch touchscreen, 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor announced

Microsoft has announced the Surface Laptop Go 2 as the successor to last year’s model. It features a 12.4-inch touchscreen PixelSense Display, comes with 10th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of SSD storage. There is no 64GB eMMC version that was available with the Surface Laptop Go since it has been replaced by 128GB SSD model. Xiaomi announces end-of-support for Redmi K20, Redmi Note 7 series, Mi Pad 4 series and more

Xiaomi has added new smartphones to its EOS list. To those unaware, the devices included in the end-of-support list do not receive any firmware update. Xiaomi says that it might not even respond to security vulnerability reports for the devices included in the EOS list. Typically, the company provides security updates for at least 2 years from launch.
