ZTE’s nubia brand today announced the nubia Z50, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in China after the launch of Z40S Pro in July. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ 144Hz FHD+ AMOLED screen, is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The phone has VC cooling with the total heat dissipation area of, 36462mm².
There are triple rear cameras that include a 64MP main camera with custom Sony IMX787 flagship sensor and offers 35mm equivalent portrait focal length. There is a 50MP 14mm ultrawide camera with macro option, but it doesn’t have a periscope camera, which the Z40S Pro had.
The phone comes in AG glass back and the green coloured model comes with a leather finish. The phone has a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

There is a limited Z50 COASTA edition that comes in a limited winter joint gift box set, which includes a Nubia Z50 mobile phone, a COSTA winter warm scarf and COSTA ice-extracted instant coffee. It is priced at 4199 yuan (US$ 602 / Rs. 49,790 approx.) for the 12GB+512GB version.
The phone is available to order from today, and will go on sale in China from December 23rd.
