Welcome to Day 4 of Search for N Contest to win Nokia N97. The N97 has a revolutionary keyboard.
Today’s question : What are the first six letters in the modern day keyboard layout ? There are a lot of interesting things about the keyboard on the phone.Its got 3 rows of keys which are nicely spaced apart.The first question I asked N97 Designer, Axel Meyer was about the space bar on the QWERTY keypad.The space bar is pretty tiny and finds it place on the right side. Normally one would expect a larger spacebar and also positioned at the center. But Axel suggested that I use the keyboard for a while and see how it worked. After I used the space bar on the right, i actually found it easy to use. It seems that this new keyboard follows haptics effectively(Haptics is study of human touching behaviour)

Nokia is doing a multi-city launch for the Nokia N97. After it was launched in Delhi, now it has been launched in Kolkata by Bollywood Actor Rahul Bose. The exact price of the phone has not been revealed even now . But when we contacted a Nokia Concept Store in Chennai, they hinted at a price of Rs.36,000 approx. In order to justify this price and also make it lighter on consumer pockets , Nokia is going to offer EMI options to N97 customers and has tied up with HDFC and Citibank to provide a 3 month EMI option at 0 % interest in select cities. Well Apple have now announced the updated version of the Apple iPhone 3G called the iPhone 3G S, the “S” stands for speed.
The handset looks almost identical to the previous model however in terms of usage, it’s nearly four times faster than before. The handset supports HSDPA upto 7.2Mbps.

I was lucky to get iPhone 3.0 running on a first gen iPhone. Here are some screen shots and camera samples of the phone running 3.0. Cut Copy Paste has finally appeared.Some users are also reporting better battery life on the 3.0 firmware. One cool feature is Shake to Undo Redo typing . There are close to 100 pictures in this gallery and I have tried to show most of the updates present in the new firmware. If I have missed anything let me know !

Nokia E72 which got leaked yesterday has now been announced by Nokia. The main improvements over the E71 include a sexier sleekier design with more rounded corners. A 5 Mega Pixel Camera with LED Flash is a huge upgrade ! The Optical Navikey which makes scrolling easier is certainly something we look forward too
Nokia 5530 XpressMusic has been announced . The phone is a cheaper version fo the Nokia 5800 and looks like the much rumored 5900 Its a Mass market music phone with no physical keys ! Wow ! There’s a 3.2 MP camera too and 4GB memory card in the box due to the Finnish’s handset maker’s generosity.
