Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S3 has crossed 9 million units worldwide according to a report by Korea Economic Daily. This includes the unit sold to more than 290 carriers in 145 countries. Airtel has launched new 3G plans for pre-paid and post-paid customers after Aircel launched new 3G plans last month. They have also introduced Smartbytes additional data usage packs for its postpaid Airtel mobile customers on 3G. Now the plans start at 10MB that would offer 30 minutes of 3G access valid for 1 day. Now Rs. 100 pack offers 300MB free data, Rs. 250 3G pack would offer 1GB of free data, Rs. 450 pack would offer 2GB of free data and Rs 1500 pack would offer 10GB free data that are valid for 30 days. LG announced the Optimus LTE 2 in Korea earlier this month that boasts a whopping 2GB RAM. Now LG has detailed the specs. The phone would come with 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) True HD IPS Display and would be powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It would run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with the latest Optimus UI 3.0.
