This is their first phone in the Superfone series with the Marathon battery. It is a Dual-SIM phone that has 3.75-inch TFT Touch Screen display and is powered by 800 MHz Processor. Samsung Galaxy S III LTE sales reach 50,000 units in Korea on launch day

Samsung has announced that they have sold 50,000 Galaxy S III LTE units through three major Korean mobile carriers on the launch day. Samsung launched the Galaxy S III in Korea last month and launched the Galaxy S III LTE on 9th of July. This is a new record in sales, Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S II sold 10,000 and 24,000 units respectively on the first day. MTS launches new MBlaze plans, revises existing plans in Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa

MTS has reduced their existing tariff plans and has also introduced new plans for MBlaze customers in Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa Circles. Rs. 96 plan would now offer 1 GB Unlimited data with 1 day validity instead of 500MB. They have also introduced Rs. 698 plan with 4 GB of free data with 60 days validity. Other select plans would offer 2 times more data (Eg: Rs 998 that offered 3GB of free data would now offer 6GB of free data with 90 days validity). Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 Review

You saw the unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 back in May, here is the full review of the tablet. It was announced in February, unveiled in Asia in March and launched in India in May. HTC reports 58% drop in profit for Q2 2012

Things don’t look very good for smartphone maker HTC which has declared a pretty steep drop in profit compared to the same period last year when it posted record profit. Profit for Q2 2012 stood at NT$7.4 billion versus NT$17.5 billion profit in Q2 2011. That is a drop of about 57.7% in profit – ouch ! Although we are a big fan of the HTC One series mainly the One X and One S, looks like it’s not doing so well in the market. Seems like Samsung is dominating the Android phone market.

MTNL Mumbai launches new Unlimited BlackBerry Plan for prepaid customers


Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) has launched Unlimited BlackBerry service plan for its customers in Mumbai circle. The new Unlimited service plans—BlackBerry BIS 399, which offers customers access to e-mail (up to 10 e-mail accounts) and instant messaging, and BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) with 384 Kbps Speed. It also offers access to e-mail, instant messaging, as well as social networking sites and Internet browsing.
