Samsung Galaxy S III LTE sales reach 50,000 units in Korea on launch day


Samsung has announced that they have sold 50,000 Galaxy S III LTE units through three major Korean mobile carriers on the launch day. Samsung launched the Galaxy S III in Korea last month and launched the Galaxy S III LTE on 9th of July. This is a new record in sales, Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S II sold 10,000 and 24,000 units respectively on the first day.

Other than the LTE support with the separate LTE modem chip, Samsung Galaxy S III LTE comes with 1.4GHz quad-core processor, DMB TV broadcasting, 2GB RAM, unique S Suggest and S Health apps and has 32GB internal memory.

It is available from all the three major carriers SK Telecom (SKT), Korea Telecom (KT) and LG U+ in Korea.
