Casio has introduced its latest tablets aimed at business users in the Japanese market. All four tablets have a 10.1″ 1,280×800 multi-touch LED display. The Paper Writer V-N500-WJ and Paper Writer V-N500-J come with a stylus and have handwriting recognition capabilities which also let it convert handwritten text to digital.

Micromax has introduced Funbook Pro, successor of the Funbook that launched in April. It is now available in India exclusively from online retailer Snapdeal. Multiple sources are claiming that the next big Apple product launch is about a month away. iMore is reporting a September 12th date for the event in which the new iPhone (iPhone 5) and a smaller version of the iPad (iPad Mini) will be launched. The Incredible S was launched in India in March 2011 with Android 2.2 (Froyo) and it got the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update in May 2011. Images of 10-inch BlackBerry PlayBook has surfaced in a Vietnamese website. The BlackBerry roadmap that leaked earlier this month mentioned a 10-inch BlackBerry PlayBook scheduled for Q3 2013.
