Vodafone launched the Opera Web Pass for their users in India earlier this week. Today, Idea Cellular has tied-up with Opera Software to launch Idea Web Pass, that lets users enjoy customized, time-based mobile internet packages within the Opera Mini browser. Just before the MWC 2014, LG had announced three smartphones in the LG L series – LG L40, LG L70 and LG L90. As you can see, the LG L70 is the mid-range offering among the three, in terms of features, size and pricing. At MWC 2014, LG showcased its recently announced devices and we managed to spend sometime with the LG L70 smartphone.
Wickedleak has launched Wammy Passion X, the company’s first water resistant smartphone. It uses AquaProtect waterproof technology, that protects the smartphone from inside-out from any water or water-based liquid damage. It has a 5-inch full HD display based on OGS technology, powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The GSM Association has announced the winners for the 19th annual Global Mobile Awards at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Last year the Galaxy S3 bagged the award, this year HTC One was awarded the best smartphone of the year, even though it had tough contenders such as Samsung Galaxy Note 3, iPhone 5S, Nokia Lumia 1020 and the LG G2. Nokia bagged two awards, the Lumia 520 bagged the award for the best low-cost smartphone of the year, competing with phones like Sony Xperia E and Samsung Galaxy Young. S Mobility has launched Spice Smart Flo Poise Mi-451, the company’s latest entry-level smartphone in the Smart Flo series. It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support and 2G (EDGE) connectivity. At MWC 2014, both Microsoft and Nokia were present. Microsoft gave a few updates regarding their progress on Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 while Nokia announced a series of Android running budget smartphones. At the Pepcom event, Microsoft and Nokia had a booth where they had showcased the Nokia Lumia Icon which is a 5inch version of the company’s latest flagship – Nokia Lumia 1520.
ZTE, a leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has a booth at the MWC 2014 event in Barcelona and they are showcasing their latest smartphones. ZTE had launched a mini version of their flagship – ZTE Nubia 5S sometime in December and now, they are here at MWC 2014 to showcase the products to global consumers.

ZTE is present at the MWC 2014 event in Barcelona and they are showcasing their smartphones and they have on display, their current flagship – ZTE Nubia 5S.
