Intel’s roadmap suggests new smartphone and tablet chips coming during MWC 2014
Intel is the company everybody knew because of processors that still power the everyday PCs and laptops. But the sales of PCs and laptops has been outdone by the sales of smartphones and tablets. People are moving on and portable devices are the new thing. Intel has been producing chips for the smartphones and tablets, but it hasn’t earned much of a consideration from the manufacturers who seem to be more than content with ARM based SoCs. Intel has to fight hard to survive this battle and looks like they are having another go at the smartphone and tablet market in the upcoming MWC 2014.

HTC Desire 8 to be unveiled on February 24th, specs detailed
HTC Desire 8, the company’s upcoming mid-range desire smartphone leaked last week along with specifications. As you can see from the official image with the invite, HTC has confirmed on Weibo that it would be officially unveiled on February 24th in China. Earlier leak revealed that the phone would come with a 5.5-inch display and a 13-megapixel rear camera. New leak popular HTC developer llabtoofer reveals the complete specifications of the smartphone, but the battery capacity is not available yet. Samsung Galaxy NotePRO Photo Gallery
Earlier today Samsung launched the Galaxy NotePRO, the company’s latest tablet with a huge 12.2-inch screen in India at a price tag of Rs. 64,900. We got some hands-on time with the tablet at the Samsung Forum 2014 in Bali, where is launched. It comes with a S Pen stylus that docks on the back of the tablet and has a Wacom Digitizer for pressure sensitive input, just like the previous Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. It has a 12.2-inch (2560×1600 pixels) WQXGA display, powered by a Octa-Core Exynos 5 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung’s own Touch Wiz UI on top. Samsung announced a few products for the Indian market today and among them is the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo. Samsung is, off late, adding a “Neo” to its already existing products and with the addition of the tag, it suggests that they are meant for the mid-range and entry range buyers. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo has specifications relatively less powerful than the Galaxy Grand 2.

Lack of popular apps doesn’t seem to be a problem anymore for the Windows Phone platform as they have lots of applications from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Samsung has unveiled a range of LED component solutions, that include two reflector-integrated flash LED packages (3432 1.8t (FH341A) and 3432 1.4t (FH341B) ), a flip-chip flash LED 2016 (FH201A), as well as two side-view LEDs (the 3810 0.6t (MS062F) and 3810 0.8t (MS082F)) for smartphones and tablets. ZTE preps Grand Memo II, Open C for MWC 2014 alongside its MiFavor 2.3 UI
We have less than a week for one of the most anticipated events of the mobile world – MWC 2014 and ZTE, one of the many Chinese manufacturers has revealed its plans for the MWC 2014. Sony announces that it shipped 5.3million PlayStation 4 units worldwide
Sony recently sold off its PC making division – VAIO, to concentrate on its core business that includes Sony PlayStation. The gaming console is only the fourth iteration(consoles life cycle last way longer than smartphones) of PlayStation and according to the company, the latest console has shipped close to 5.3million units across the world.

Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo (GT-I9060) in India officially, at the Samsung Forum 2014 in Bali. It went on sale earlier this week and packs a 5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.
