All New HTC One spotted at FCC again, reveals international and US carrier variants
The All New HTC One was first spotted at the FCC last month, before it was removed. It was the AT&T version with LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7 and 17 for the carrier. Recently the All New HTC One got the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification in six different variants. The OP6B120 pictured above is the global variant with 4G LTE on band 7. Xolo Q1100 Benchmarks
Xolo launched the Q1100, the company’s first phone in the Q CORE series powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor last month. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8228) ARM Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz with Adreno 305 GPU. Both the Moto G and the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 were powered by a quad-core Snapdragon (MSM 8226) chip clocked at 1.19 GHz. Sony Socialife News app now available to all Android smartphones
Sony Socialife or Sony’s news app that comes per-loaded on Xperia smartphones, is not exclusive to Xperia smartphones anymore. The Japanese manufacturer has released the app on Google Play for all Android smartphones running on Android 4.1 or later. The app crossed 10 million downloads recently, which now has over 13 million downloads, says the company. Looks like it is still exclusive to Sony Xperia tablets. Samsung Chromebook 2 series with Exynos 5 Octa Processors announced
Samsung has announced its Chromebook 2 series that includes a 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch models. The 11.6-inch Samsung Chromebook 2 has a 11.6-inch (1366 x 768 pixels) display and the 13.3-inch model has a 13.3-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD display with 250 nits brightness. Both these Chromebooks are powered by a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processors, unlike some Chromebooks that are powered by Intel Celeron processors. Micromax Canvas Blaze HD EG116, the company’s latest dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) smartphone is now available from official Micromax eStore. It appeared on official website last week, and has a 5-inch HD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Samsung unveiled the Gear Fit, the company’s first fitness band last week. The South Korean manufacturer was expected to unveil the Galaxy 4 series at the MWC 2014 last week, but it didn’t happen. Samsung Gear Fit micro site lists Galaxy Tab4 (10.1/8.0./7.0) in the Gear fit compatibility list, which confirms the existence of these upcoming tablets. Oppo Find 7 rumored to be coming with a 50MP camera
Oppo Find 5 was the first Full HD smartphone and Oppo had hoped they would be the first to announce a 2K display phone in the form of Oppo Find 7 at CES 2014 earlier this year, but things did not go according to their plan and they are yet to announce the Oppo Find 7. Oppo has set the announcement of Oppo Find 7 for March 19 and we look forward to that day.

Samsung Chromebook 2 rumored to be coming with Galaxy Note 3 style faux leather build
At the IFA 2013, Samsung announced its yesteryear flagship – Galaxy Note 3 and it set a trend for things to come. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 came with a faux leather back and it continued on to other Samsung Galaxy devices – Galaxy Round, Galaxy Grand 2. Samsung somehow missed it on their follow up of S-series of flagship devices – Galaxy S5. Despite missing it on the company’s flagship, Samsung seems to continue the faux leather trend, but this time in a Chromebook.
All new HTC One leaked in a new video, reveals microSD card slot
We all know that HTC would unveil the all new HTC One 2014 (M8) on March 25th. We had already seen several leaks earlier, but the smartphone has appeared on a 12-minute long video that was supposed to be taken on February 19th. The video shows off the phone aluminium uni-body design, as teased by HTC in new videos and also reveal a micro SD card slot on the side of the phone. HTC monthly revenue drops 36.4% YoY in February
HTC has reported their unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$ 7.2 billion (US$238 million) for February 2014 , down by 36.45% YoY, compared to NT$ 11.3 billion in February 2013. Total unaudited consolidated revenue for January and February 2014 is NT$ 16.9 billion. Last month the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer reported revenues of NT$ 42.9 billion for Q4 2013, a 28% drop YoY in terms of revenue. Nokia X can now access Google Play Store, unofficially ofcourse
Nokia X was launched less than a couple of weeks, but it has already been hacked. That is the thing about Android smartphones – you can get root user access and do things that wouldn’t be otherwise possible. As rumored, Nokia introduced an Android smartphone at MWC 2014, but with their own restrictions. Nokia had completely removed Google from the equation and pushed a lot of its own code and Nokia X series devices use Microsoft’s services instead of Google.

Apple launches two-week trial offer for iPhone in India
Apple has introduced a new trial offer in India, that lets users to try any iPhone for up up two weeks, before returning to back. This move is to boost the sales of the iPhones in India. Last year the company introduced 10% Cash back on iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C on the launch day for Citibank customers. It runs several EMI and Cash Back schemes for iPhone and iPad Mini in India.
