LG G Watch R Unboxing
LG introduced the G Watch R, the company’s second Android Wear smartwatch and the successor of the G Watch ahead of IFA. It is the second Android Wear smartwatch with a circular display after the Motorola Moto 360. It went on sale in the U.S. on Google Play recently, priced at $299. The Gionee CTRL V6L has a 5-inch HD screen, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Pioneer P5L has a 4.7-inch FWVGA screen, powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Swipe Technologies has launched the Swipe Ultimate, the company’s first Windows 8.1 tablet. It has a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS screen and is powered by an quad-core Intel Atom Z3735 processor. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a magnetic keyboard that has a touchpad so that it can double up as a laptop.
Sharp develops ultra sharp 4.1 inch LCD display with 736ppi
Sharp has developed a new 4.1” IGZO LCD display with 736 pixels per inch (ppi). According to Sharp, its new display has the same pixel density as a 6-inch 4K display. The highest-resolution LCD panel that the company has so far developed is a low-temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) panel that has a resolution slightly lower than 550ppi.
