HTC M8 Ace first surfaced online in April via press leaks which was followed by rumors that it will come in plastic built body and bear a lower price tag. Yesterday, a Chinese website claimed that the phone will have a curved body along with only one camera on the back with LED flash. This was followed by a tweet from HTC teasing “more beautiful curves coming soon,” suggesting the launch of HTC M8 Ace.

Nokia X2 (RM-1013), the successor of the Nokia X, the company’s first Android smartphone surfaced few days back on a Chinese website. Now the smartphone has appeared on AnTuTu benchmark. This confirms the previous leak that the phone would be powered by a 1.2 dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage. This also reveals more specifications such as 4.3-inch WVGA screen, Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean), 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Huawei has announced the Honor 3X Pro and the 4G variant of the Honor 3C in China. It unveiled the Honor 3X and the Honor 3C back in December last year. The Honor 3C was launched in India earlier this month and the international variant of the Honor 3X was launched as Ascend G750. The Honor 3X Pro is powered by the same 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Emotion UI 2.0, but this has a 5.5-inch 1080p LTPS display, unlike the 720p display on the Honor 3X. BBM Protected is basically BBM for enterprise customers and offers secure and reliable real-time mobile messaging.
Samsung is reportedly working on a Virtual Reality(VR) headset that will be compatible to its Galaxy line of devices. The South Korean tech giant plans to release the headset later this year.

Any.do, one of the popular to-do apps for Android and iPhone has launched its first web app on web.any.do. It has also announced that it has crossed 10 million users on mobile. The web app is still in beta but you can sign up with your e-mail to get a pass code for the access. This syncs tasks between your mobile apps and has desktop-friendly UI with new focus and planning modes. This let users view tasks in a single column or across all folders at once. Micromax has launched Unite 2 A106, the company’s latest smartphone. It has a 4.7 (800 x 480 pixels) display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). This is the first Micromax phone to run on KitKat and it also has OTA update option. It has a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera. Flipkart and Myntra merger is a done deal. India’s big daddy Flipkart has acquired 100% stake in fashion and lifestyle e-retailer Myntra. The exact amount of the deal is not disclosed by either of the companies, but as per few reports it might be more than $300 million (Rs. 2000 crore approx.).

Secret, a social networking app that lets users send text and images to others anonymously has now landed on Android. The four month old app that made its debut on iOS earlier this year, preserves user identity as it does not have profile name or photo. It uses address book of users to see what your “friends” and “friends of friends” are also posting. Users can sign in, post public, anonymous confessions, and let others comment on, like, and share them.
