Instagram has launched Hyperlapse, a new app to capture high-quality time lapse videos even while in motion. It uses built-in stabilization technology to capture time lapses when you are just holding the device in your hand. You can choose playback speed between 1x-12x. The app doesn’t require you to create an instagram account.
HTC Desire 510 with Snapdragon 410 SoC, 4G LTE announced
HTC has announced Desire 510, the company’s latest smartphones in the desire series with 4G LTE connectivity. It is also the company’s first smartphone powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor based on 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 and has Adreno 306 GPU. It has 4.7 inch FWVGA screen, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with HTC Sense UI on top, comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera without flash and a VGA front-facing camera. Smartphone ‘kill switch’ bill passed into a law in California
With an aim to put a curb on growing smartphone thefts, Governor Jerry Brown of California has signed the ‘Kill switch’ bill into a law. Starting July 1st, 2015, the law will require all smartphone makers to install kill switch on the phones that lets users remotely lock them in case they are stolen.
