Motorola has posted the changelog on its website that brings long list of changes and improvements. As per the list, the phone will get benefit from camera enhancements, as well as get the Device Protection feature, which Google had indicated would only be available for the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 and devices that ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. Other additions includes usability improvements to notifications and interruptions, a reduction of noise in low-light camera shots, better ART runtime, bug fixes and pull down menus of Wi-fi and Bluetooth from the Quick settings.

Users can now add icons to the volume settings panel that match those that will show in the status bar. The update also brings minor changes in the animation of the toggles in the quick settings. The official Android 5.1 update should be released OTA to unlocked devices in the coming weeks.
