Google Nexus 9 update to Android Lollipop 5.1 begins rollout

Google has announced over twitter that the Nexus 9 will soon be receiving an update to version 5.1, starting today. Until today, the latest software version that was available for the Nexus 9 was Andoird Lollipop 5.0.2 while most of it’s counterparts received 5.1 quite a while back.

BlackBerry Leap with 5 inch 720p display, 1.5Ghz Snapdragon S4 processor launched in India

Announced in March 2015, the BlackBerry Leap is making its way to India later this month. The handset combines mid range specifications, solid reliability of BlackBerry OS with it’s enterprise credentials and a low enough price to offer a gateway product for mid level executives. The core specifications make it sound like a not so modern handset but give the Leap a chance and it is greater than the sum of it’s parts. The BlackBerry Leap employs a compact 5 inch 720p display. It is powered by a 1.5Ghz Snapdragon S4 processor and has 2GB of RAM onboard. An 8MP camera is placed at the rear while a 2MP camera can be used for video calling purposes. Lava to invest Rs. 1,200 crore for manufacturing

Lava International on Thursday announced that it has crosses US$ 1 billion (Rs. 6300 crore approx.) in revenue in FY14-15, registering more than 100% growth over last year. Overall smartphone sales witnessed a three-fold growth with 300% increase in volume (YoY), compared to FY 2013-14 said the company. It has also opened accounts on its social channels and also has a separate website for India, nubia.in. The website just shows a box with the caption Now, There is no limit to what you can achieve. This doesn’t give any hint about the smartphone that will launch in the country first.
