At the Lenovo event last night in Berlin, we were able to go hands on with one of the new Moto X smartphones – the Moto X Play. The Moto X Play is a device with lesser power as compared to the Moto X Style but it comes with a 21 Megapixel camera sensor as well as a beefy 3630 mAH battery.

Gionee S5.1 Pro with 5-inch HD AMOLED display, Octa-Core SoC, Android 5.1 announced

Gionee has announced S5.1 Pro, the latest smartphone in the S series in China. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) AMOLED display with a 2.5D curved glass, is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Amigo UI 3.1 on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection on the front and the back, which is also curved and has a metal frame. Snapdragon 820 promises to be more frugal with your smartphone’s battery

Lenovo’s 6.98-inch Phab and 6.8-inch Phab Plus priced at $179 and $299

Lenovo introduced the Phab Plus in China last month, now at the IFA 2015, the company has introduced the phablet for the international markets, along with the new Phab with a 6.98-inch HD display. As we already know, the Phab Plus is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, the Phab is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon SoC (Snapdragon 410 likely). Both these run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Lenovo’s own Vibe UI on top, have a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
