We hope that you saw the recent listing for the Windows tablet that Samsung has brought into India for testing. Now, another listing on Zauba shows us that Samsung has been importing materials and components into India for what looks to be to manufacture the Tizen powered Z3 smartphone in India.

The company seems to have imported materials and components enough to manufacture an initial run of 1000 units. The materials were imported into Delhi from South Korea. The manufacturing process is likely to be happening at Samsung’s manufacturing plant in Noida. The number of units being produced should slowly increase with time after necessary checks are complete.

Samsung has also stated that they will be looking forward to a wider release for the Z3 and hence would need a large number of devices to do so for a worldwide release. The Z3 is expected to pack a 5″ 720p display, quad-core 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC7730S processor, 1.5GB of RAM, an 8 Megapixel camera at the back as well as a 5 Megapixel front facing camera.
