WhatsApp has silently updated WhatsApp on the Web with several new features. First spotted by Android Police, WhatsApp Web now lets you change your profile photo by uploading an image, capturing an image and set it as a profile photo if you have a webcam or remove the profile photo. Meerkat for iOS has been updated to version 1.5 that adds new cameo mode that lets your viewers to take over your stream for 60 seconds. You can tap a viewer’s profile or comment “Cameo @username” to invite someone for a cameo. Both can end the cameo at any time. This update also makes use of Facebook API so that you can connect your Facebook account to Meerkat to receive alerts when one of your friends or pages you follow join.

Google has updated its Messenger app for Android to version 1.4 that brings support for location sharing, stickers, and quick scrolling. The location sharing in attach dialog lets you easily share your location, and the recipient gets a small image of the map with the location and a link to Google Maps. Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab A SM-T355 (8 LTE) in India last month at a price tag of Rs. 20,500. We brought you the unboxing of the tablet recently, here we have its benchmarks. It powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.19 GHz per core and Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400 MHz.
