Fitbit today introduced Blaze, its latest smart fitness watch at the CES 2016. It has a color touchscreen with a variety of clock faces, automatic exercise recognition, tracks steps, distance, calories and floors climbed, keeps tabs on your sleep, and can wirelessly sync with your phone or computer. It also offers smartphone notifications and music controls once connected to a smartphone, similar to the Fitbit Surge. JBL and Under Armour have teamed up to launch two wireless in-ear headphones – UA Headphones Wireless Heart Rate and UA Headphones Wireless. Both the headphones are engineered by JBL.
Jaybird, popular for its wireless headphones today introduced its latest sport earbuds Freedom and the X3, which is the successor of its X2 sport earbuds that comes in a smaller hardware profile than its predecessor. Motorola has finally started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OTA update for the Moto X Play smartphone in India. Motorola rolled out the Android Marshmallow update for the Moto X Style in India back in November last year. In an interview last month, Amit Boni, general manager of Motorola India confirmed that Motorola will roll out Marshmallow update for the Moto X Play in India soon.

Broadcom Corporation today announced BCM43012, its latest and lowest power Wi-Fi/Bluetooth combo chip for mobile platforms and accessories at the CES 2016. It also announced BCM20797, its highest performing Near Field Communications (NFC) controller. The company’s latest Wi-Fi/Bluetooth combo chip promises 3X longer battery life compared to Broadcom’s previous combo chips. “In some applications, the BCM43012 Wi-Fi consumes 80 percent less power than the most common Bluetooth solutions today,” said the company. HP has announced a new slimmer and lighter EliteBook Folio notebook ahead of CES 2016. The company says that this is the thinnest and lightest notebook which is 21 percent slimmer and up to 15 percent lighter than the HP EliteBook 1020.
