Press render of the Moto Z2 Play surfaced last month, and the specifications of the smartphone were revealed by @evleaks earlier this month. Now the smartphone has been certified by China’s TENAA confirming the specifications and also reveals the model number as XT1710. Lenovo even confirmed that the smartphone will have a 3000mAh battery in tweet to a user, compared to 3510mAh battery on the Moto Z Play. Your Apple Watch may soon learn to track your blood sugar. A new report from CNBC says that Apple CEO Tim Cook has been spotted testing a glucose tracker for the Apple Watch. The latest news comes days after it was reported that Apple employees were testing out small sensors to continuously monitor glucose for diabetes patients.

I/O 2017 shows signs of a more mature Google

There’s few industry events that get enthusiasts as excited as Google’s annual I/O developer gathering. It was ‘just’ four years ago that skydivers zoomed down on Moscone Center and streamed the entire thing via Google Glass. From moonshots to hardware efforts like the Nexus Q that never really saw the light of day, Google has been the adventurous, perhaps slightly reckless counterpart to the more reserved and cautious Apple. If I/O 2017 is any indication then it looks like that there’s a change coming and we might start seeing a more mature side of Google. Google announced Daydream 2.0 that is codenamed as Euphrates at the I/Oc conference. The update to the virtual reality platform brings features like Chrome VR, Google Cast support and more. Euphrates will be available on all Daydream compatible handsets later this year, including the Galaxy S8 and S8+ and LG’s upcoming flagship smartphone. Nubia launched nubia M2 Lite in India last week. Today the company has teased the launch of another smartphone in the country. Even through the teaser doesn’t reveal the name of the phone. The image has a caption Let there be Lite! and the image shows a similar front camera arrangement with selfie flash. It was announced back in February at the MWC, and the company already confirmed that the smartphone will launch in India soon.
