Xiaomi just launched the the company’s Mi TV in India, as expected. It was introduced at the CES 2017 and was launched in China in May last year. IT has a 4K panel with support for HDR. It has  a 4.9mm slim frameless design and comes with  Patch Wall, a UI layer on top of the Android OS that’s based on deep learning AI technology that can curate content based on recommendations. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro First Impressions

Say what you will, it was the Redmi series that put Xiaomi on the map in India. Striking the perfect balance between performance, battery life and price, the Redmi series hit it out of the park and developed a massive following. Over the last few generations, Xiaomi focussed on perfecting the formula and the end result was the Redmi Note 4. Despite being close to a year old, demand remains high further pointing towards how the phone managed to strike a chord with its target audience and has sold over 5 million units. 1 year on though, it’s time for an upgrade. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro with 5.99-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 636, up to 6GB RAM launched in India starting at Rs. 13999

Along with the Redmi Note 5, Xiaomi also launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone, as rumored. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with 5.99-inch FHD+ FullView display launched in India starting at Rs. 9999

Xiaomi just launched the Redmi Note 5, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘Redmi Note’ series in India, as it had promised. As expected, it is the same  Redmi 5 Plus that was introduced  in China back in December last year. It has a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 full-screen display, is powered by Snapdragon 625 with up to 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) with MIUI 9.2 on top.

Google is testing ‘Reply’ app to bring smart replies to messaging apps

Google introduced automated-replies to Inbox two year ago and later was also rolled to Gmail. These automated replies will guess what you might reply to the message and adds a button to send that response. Samsung Galaxy A8+ Review

Spectra (formerly Spectranet) has launched 1Gbps broadband plans in Bengaluru, after Delhi NCR. It starts at Rs. 899 with 400 GB download limit with option of carrying forward the unused data, while unlimited 1Gbps plan without any cap costs Rs. 1,249. Spectra is present only in select areas in Bengaluru and is expected to expand across the city soon. With the Gigabit plan, Spectra will take on ACT Fibernet that started offering Gigabit broadband recently. JioPhone users finally get Facebook app

Reliance Jio unveiled JioPhone, the company’s first VoLTE feature phone back in July and started pre-bookings in August.
