Samsung said to replace Tizen OS with Wear OS in upcoming Galaxy smartwatches

Redmi 9 Power 6GB RAM, 128GB storage version launched in India for Rs. 12999

Xiaomi under its Redmi brand launched the Redmi 9 Power in India back in December starting at Rs. 10999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version was launched at Rs. 11,999. Today it has launched the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version at Rs. 12,999. It comes in Mighty Black, Blazing Blue, Fiery Red and Electric Green colours and will be available across Amazon India, Mi.com, Mi Home stores and Mi Studio starting today, 22 February 2021 12 noon. Update: Redmi today posted an image of the phone in Black colour with water-like pattern on the back. The company also confirmed 4520mAh battery for the phone. It already confirmed Dolby Atoms, Stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio certification and E4 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate with a 2.8mm tiny centre punch-hole camera for the phone.

Realme GT 5G with Snapdragon 888 to be announced on March 4 [Update: Teaser confirms 64MP triple rear cameras, 3.5mm audio jack]

Update: realme China CMO Xu Qi Chase has posted a new image of the phone in Blue colour that shows 64MP rear camera along with two other cameras and a 3.5mm audio jack in the bottom. New teaser will be posted tomorrow. The phone will also be showcased at the MWC Shanghai later this week before it is unveiled next week.

Apple TV app now available on Chromecast for Google TV devices and more

After announcing back in December 2020, that Apple TV app will be coming to the Google TV platform, the app has finally become available globally to download. The search engine giant also said that it would bring this to more Google TV devices in the upcoming days.

The Apple TV app will allow users access to original TV shows produced by Apple, along with movies and documentaries. The Apple TV app will be available to install from the Play Store, and once installed, it can be found in the Apps Tabs.

Google TV will also recommend some content, such as from the Apple TV app in the For You tab. In case, if you have an Apple TV+ subscription, users can watch their favorite TV show within the app.

Users in the US will be able to browse through Apple Originals in their personalised recommendations and search results. They will also able to ask Google Assistant to open the Apple TV app or play an Apple Original title. On top of that, they can add Apple Originals movies or shows to Watchlist as well. Google says these features will roll out globally in the coming months.

In addition to Chromecast with Google TV, the Apple TV app will also be available on Google TVs from Sony and TCL. Google is planning to roll out to more Android TV-powered devices in the coming months.
