This move comes after WhatsApp had a disastrous rollout few weeks ago, where users felt like their choice was being taken away if they wanted to continue using the service.

Apple TV app now available on Chromecast for Google TV devices and more

After announcing back in December 2020, that Apple TV app will be coming to the Google TV platform, the app has finally become available globally to download. The search engine giant also said that it would bring this to more Google TV devices in the upcoming days.

The Apple TV app will allow users access to original TV shows produced by Apple, along with movies and documentaries. The Apple TV app will be available to install from the Play Store, and once installed, it can be found in the Apps Tabs.

Google TV will also recommend some content, such as from the Apple TV app in the For You tab. In case, if you have an Apple TV+ subscription, users can watch their favorite TV show within the app.

Users in the US will be able to browse through Apple Originals in their personalised recommendations and search results. They will also able to ask Google Assistant to open the Apple TV app or play an Apple Original title. On top of that, they can add Apple Originals movies or shows to Watchlist as well. Google says these features will roll out globally in the coming months.

In addition to Chromecast with Google TV, the Apple TV app will also be available on Google TVs from Sony and TCL. Google is planning to roll out to more Android TV-powered devices in the coming months.

Motorola just launched the Moto E7 Power, the company’s latest budget smartphone in India, as it had announced. The company says that this is a 100% made in India smartphone. It packs a 6.5-inch HD+ MaxVision display with a water-drop style notch, is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G25 procesor paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that can be expanded through microSD. The company says that it uses eMCP, which is an embedded multi-chip package that combines eMMC and low-power DRAM. ASUS ROG Phone 5 with Snapdragon 888, 6000mAh battery to be announced on March 10

ASUS has confirmed the ROG Phone 5 announcement on March 10th. This will be the successor of the ROG Phone 3 that introduced back in July last year, so it is skipping the number ‘4’. Last time the company introduced the phone in India alongside, but it  didn’t reveal India launch details of the ROG Phone 5 yet. The phone recently got certified by TENAA with the model number ASUS_I005DA that revealed dot matrix Aura Lighting on the back that shows the ROG logo, but it should be customizable using the software.
