Wear OS by Google will support custom third-party Tiles in upcoming update

Google introduced Tiles into their Wear OS software back in 2019, giving users access to quick functionalities and information such as Goals, Weather, Heart rate and more with just a swipe left. At the moment, developing Tiles is limited to only Google, however that is about to change in the next update as Google is opening up the feature to third-party developers.

Global wearable market shipped 444.7 million units with 28.4% YoY growth in 2020: IDC

In 2020, the global wearable market witnessed significant growth all throughout the year, shipping a total of 444.7 million units, which calculates to a growth of 28.4% YoY. During the fourth quarter alone, the market shipped 153.5 million units, growing by 27.2% YoY.

OnePlus Nord Android 11 update resumes with OxygenOS 11.1.1.1 hotfix

OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 to OnePlus Nord earlier this month. Last week the announced that the update has been temporarily paused since some users reported bugs after the update. As promised the company has rolled out a new OxygenOS 11.1.1.1 hotfix update to fix the bugs. Both the Android 10 users and the users who have updated to Android 11 already will get the update. Black Shark has announced that the Black Shark 4 series smartphones that includes the Black Shark 4 and the Black Shark 4 Pro will be introduced on March 23rd. The phone got certified by TENAA last month revealing some specifications. The company also confirmed 4500mAh battery with 120W fast charging  that can charge the phone in less than 15 minutes. Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K 55-inch Review

In the last 2 years, the Indian smart TV market saw a huge influx of products from many smartphone manufacturers. One of the biggest companies among them is Xiaomi, who first launched the Mi TV 4 back in February 2018. Since then their portfolio in the smart TV has expanded, and they now offer 9 TVs, across two product series and various sizes ranging from 32 inches to 65 inches. The Mi TV QLED 4K in particular comes in 55 -inch variant and here is our review of the device.

Xiaomi receives relief as US Judge suspends US DoD Blacklist decision

Back in January, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) released a blacklist of 9 companies that they claimed to be under the control of the Chinese Military, among which Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi was included. After contesting the decision last month, a U.S. federal judge has now temporarily blocked the DoD from enforcing the consequences of the decision.

HTC has silently introduced Wildfire E3, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Wildfire series and the successor of last year’s Wildfire E2 in Russia. This packs a 6.517-inch HD+ waterdrop notch screen that houses a 13-megapixel camera, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with  4GB of RAM, runs Android 10, comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
