Remember the good old Motorola RAZR ? Now the Moto RAZR is back in a sexy new avatar in the form of a incredible Android phone.The Motorola RAZR XT910 was officially launched in India only yesterday and here we have some unboxing pics of this beautiful device and a video is processing as we speak.The device comes in pretty small square box with a touch of red to it. The RAZR XT910 is the GSM variant of the Motorola DROID RAZR which was launched on Verizon in the US. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor and packs 1 GB of RAM. The display is a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Advanced display. It packs a 8MP camera which is capable of full HD 1080p recording. The handset is incredible thin at just 7.1 mm except in the top. Siri can now tweet as Developer creates a Proxy Server
One developer @Plamoni has managed to create a Proxy Server for hacking around Siri – the virtual assistant found on the Apple iPhone 4S. Since he shared the source code on github another developer put together a twitter plugin which lets you tweet using Siri. Airtel Apple iPhone 4S Pricing 16GB – Rs.44500, 32GB – Rs.50900, 64GB – Rs.57500
While we got some news about the Apple iPhone 4S pricing from Aircel , we now have the pricing from Airtel. Its not looking very different.The 16GB model is about Rs.400 lesser than on Aircel and priced at Rs.44500.There is a 64GB option at Rs.57500. The 32GB model is priced exactly the same at Rs.50900. Looks like Airtel is taking pre-bookings online . Apple does not directly sell iPhones in India and operators actually procure them and sell it here. The iPhone 4 pricing at Rs.34500 was actually pretty decent. But the iPhone 4S pricing seems very high. There is also news that the iPhone 4 8GB version will cost Rs.37900 and the 3GS will cost Rs.20900. That looks like an increase in the cost of the iPhone 4 as well. Aircel Apple iPhone 4S Price – Rs.44900 for 16GB , Rs.50900 for 32GB !
We have just heard that the Apple iPhone 4S wont be coming for cheap in India. The price of the 16GB and 32GB variants on Aircel are out . The cheapest version of the iPhone 4S which is the 16GB version will come for Rs.44900 and the 32GB version will retail for a shocking Rs.50900. This information comes from a Nidhi Singal who walked into a Aircel store in the capital New Delhi and got this information. As you would know both Airtel and Aircel announced that they are launching the iPhone 4S in India . Both the operators are starting Pre-Orders from Nov 18 that is today and with this kind of pricing I’m not sure how many users would actually still think of getting one. Google Music Android Event Live Blog
Google is holding an event in Los Angeles today and is expected to announce something connected to Google Music and Android. We have been hearing rumors that Google has been in talks with various record labels for Google Music which debuted at Google IO earlier this year.(currently in beta and available only in the US). Will Google come up with a answer to iTunes , Spotify ? We should find out soon. We should definitely expect to see a complete version of the Google Music App for Android too. . Sony Tablet S WiFi Version gets Priced in India
Sony India has revealed the price of it’s Android Honeycomb tablet the Tablet S on it’s website. As of now only the 16GB WiFi version seems to be on sale and there is no mention of the 3G version. The Sony Tablet S is already available in select Sony stores across the country. The MRP for this 9.4 inch Android tablet is Rs.29,990 according to the site. The device is powered by a Nvidia Tegra2 1 GHz processor along with 1 GB of RAM. Sony claims you can control your home devices using the Sony Tablet S as a universal remote. Samsung Galaxy Nexus SIM-Free delayed in the UK
Many online retailers in the UK have who were initially all set to ship the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Nov 17 which is the official launch date for the device in the UK have now post-poned the shipping date. Clove has pushed the shipping date to Nov 23 and Expansys has pushed the date to Dec 1st. Operator 3 UK has warned customers who pre-ordered the device yesterday that their phone won’t be delivered until Nov 22 due to stock delays.

Apple to sell Refurbished iPhone 4 in India at just Rs.22500
Looks like finally India is in Apple’s radar. The company launched the iPhone 4 pretty late in India but then it also launched a cheaper version of the 3GS at around Rs.19000. As you might know , the iPhone 4S is launching in India in a matter of days on Airtel and Aircel and now there is news that Apple might start selling a refurbished iPhone 4 in India for Rs.22500 according to BGR.in. Refurbished products or open box items are pretty common in the United States and many companies including Apple offer a discount on such products compared to brand new products. While some might confuse a refurb with a stinking , used , damaged product it is not. Refurbs are basically products which have visited the factory or repair center for some defect which is now fixed. It can range from a cosmetic defect to a manufacturing flaw.But Apple still offers 1 year warranty on such products from the date of purchase. Nokia Asha Phones
Back at Nokia World last month , the company launched the Asha range of phones which means hope in Hindi. The company is calling it an ‘aspirational’ range of phones for the next billion. 4 new phones were launched under this banner – 200 , 201 , 300 and 303 . 3 of these phones will be shipping in 2011 and 1 in early next year. Looks like Nokia is trying to make a comeback in the low-end category which is now dominated by the likes of Micromax, Karbonn, Spice and similar vendors.
Aircel launching the iPhone 4S in India on Nov 25th
Aircel has now announced a date for it’s iPhone 4S launch. The operator just shared on it’s Facebook page that it is launching the iPhone 4S in India on Nov 25th. Yesterday Aircel and Airtel announced they are launching the iPhone 4S in India soon.
We guess Aircel (and Airtel) might announce their pricing ( and weird money back plans ) on the 25th. We don’t have any details about the pricing but should have some info soon. The iPhone 4S packs a Dual Core CPU , 8MP Camera with Full HD video recording and the interesting virtual assistant Siri. Looks wise its almost same as the previous iPhone – the iPhone 4. The device runs on iOS 5 which is the latest operating system for iPhone , iPad and iPod touch.

Nano SIM card coming soon !
While the whole mobile industry was taken surprise when the microSIM card made it’s way onto the Apple iPad and the iPhone 4. Fast forward 2011 , we have the world’s largest handset maker going with a microSIM slot in it’s latest smartphones including the Nokia ,N9, Lumia 800 and Lumia 710. Motorola used a similar SIM card slot in the DROID RAZR. Now a German company Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) has come up with the World’s first Nano SIM card which is significantly smaller than even a microSIM card.The main reason handset makers go with a microSIM card is to reduce the thickness of the device. World’s First Angry Birds Store opens in Finland at 11:11 AM on 11.11.11
Rovio , the company behind the hugely popular Angry Birds game series has opened the World’s First Angry Birds Store in Helsinki, Finland. Rovio is a Finnish company and it makes sense for them to open the store in their home turf. The store features Angry Birds accessories including birds and pigs found in the game and also life-size slingshots that makes interesting noises found in the actual game itself. You can also buy shirts, plush toys, bags. The store is located within a 20,000 square meter megastore called Verkkokauppa.com in Helsinki, Finland. The doors of the store were opened at 11:11 AM yesterday where we had the fancy 11.11.11 date.

Unlocked Apple iPhone 4S now shipping from Apple Store in the US
When Apple launched the Apple iPhone 4S last month , it also announced it’s plans to sell factory unlocked versions in November which could be purchased without the need for a contract. Today , the Apple Store in the US is taking orders for the Unlocked iPhone 4S which starts at US$ 649 for the 16GB , $749 for the 32GB and $849 for the 64GB. Just a reminder that most states in the US charge a sales tax so the final price at the time of check out might be slightly higher.
