The price of Twitter Blue, the social network’s premium subscription service, is going to increase. It’s been a little over 8 months since its launch. A few new capabilities were added to Twitter last year with the debut of Twitter Blue, which was available to anyone who was willing to pay $2.99 per month. Global smartphone shipments declined 8.7% YoY in Q2 2022: IDC
According to tentative data from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, the number of smartphones shipped around the world dropped 8.7% from the same time last year to the second quarter of 2022 (2Q22). This is the fourth straight quarter that the smartphone market has gone down. Shipments fell to 286.0 million units, about 3.5 percent lower than expected. China smartphone sales hit a new low in Q2 2022: Report
According to Counterpoint’s Market Pulse research, sales of smartphones in China fell 14.2% YoY in Q2 2022. Volumes for the quarter were less than half of the historical peak of Q4 2016 and were down 12.6% from the level seen during the severely pandemic-hit Q1 2020.
