Sony confirms new PlayStation 4 with 4K support, faster processor and improved graphics

Sony has confirmed that it is working on the next-generation PlayStation console, which is an upgraded version of the PlayStation 4. This was confirmed by Andrew House, president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment in an interview with the Financial Times. This will supposedly be called the PlayStation 4 Neo, which will have a faster processor, improved graphics and also support for 4K content. NVIDIA introduced GeForce GTX 1070, along with the flagship GTX 1080 last month. The Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 went on sale in India a couple weeks back, today the Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition is now available for purchase in India through several retailers. It is based on new Pascal architecture and is built on TSMC’s 16nm FinFET process. Lenovo Vibe K5 with Snapdragon 415, 4G LTE launching in India on June 13

Lenovo today announced that it will launch the Vibe K5 smartphone in India on June 13th. The company launched the Vibe K5 Plus smartphone in the country at at price of Rs. 8,499 back in March. The Vibe K5 has the similar design as the K5 Plus, but this has a 5-inch HD screen and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 415 SoC, instead of 5-inch 1080p display and Snapdragon 616 SoC on the Vibe K5 Plus. LG launched its flagship G5 smartphone in India earlier this month. We already brought you the unboxing, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit 14nm processor that has two custom Kryo cores clocked at 2.15GHz per core and two smaller Kryo cores are clocked at 1.59GHz per core. It has 624 MHz Adreno 530 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, has a 5.3-inch Quad HD curved glass display and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with LG UX on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores. OnePlus One recently received Cyanogen OS 13.1 update that brings support for several Cyanogen MODs that allows developers to deeply integrate their apps into its OS. Now Cyanogen has detailed these MODs that is also available for built-in apps such as Phone, Messaging, Camera, Lock Screen, Email, and more. Panasonic has launched T30 and T44, two new budget 3G smartphones. Both these have a 4-inch WVGA display, are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, pack a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. These have dual SIM support, similar to other Panasonic smartphones. The T30 runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and the T44 runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Panasonic’s own SAIL UI that has several features such as Pose mode, Child mode, and more. Xiaomi Mi 5 now available from Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal and Tata CLiQ in India

Xiaomi Mi 5 went on open sale in India through Mi.com earlier this month, along with the Redmi Note 3. Now the flagship smartphone is available for purchase from Amazon.in, Flipkart, Snapdeal and Tata CLiQ in the country online without registrations. OPPO has introduced A59, the company’s latest smartphone in the A series in China. It has a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass screen, is powered by a octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Color OS 3.0, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Lenovo just announced PHAB 2 Pro, the world’s first tango (project tango previously) smartphone for consumers at the Tech World 2016 in San Francisco in partnership with Google, as it had promised earlier this year at the CES. It has four cameras that includes a 16-megapixel RGB camera, a depth camera, a motion tracking camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera for Tango’s 3D mapping technology to understand the world around you. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Xiaomi Mi Community for India launching this month, beta test registration begins

Xiaomi is all set to launch its Mi Community in India on on June 20th. This will allow MI customers to share their feedback, participate in contests, take part in launch events in India and more easily. Xiaomi has already started beta test registrations, which will begin on June 14th. 500 Mi Community beta testers will get early access to new forum for Mi fans in India and other goodies.
