Google released first Android 8.1 (Oreo) Developer Preview for Pixel and Nexus devices last month . Today it has released the final Android 8.1 Developer Preview 2 for the devices. The first update brought a set of targeted enhancements including optimizations for Android Go and new Neural Networks API to accelerate on-device machine intelligence, the latest one includes official APIs (API level 27), the latest optimizations and bug fixes, and the November 2017 security patch updates. Samsung launched the Galaxy J5 Prime (SM-G570F) smartphone in India back in September last year. Now the Galaxy J5 Prime 2017 (SM-G571F) has been certified by the FCC in the U.S. This reveals the model number of the smartphone that had already surfaced in GFXBench benchmark, but it doesn’t reveal any specifications.

Canon today launched EOS M100, its latest mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera in the EOS M series in India. It has a 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 7 image processor and uses Dual Pixel CMOS AF for high-speed autofocus. It also comes with 180-degree tilt up 3.0-inch LCD touch screen and comes with self-portrait mode with smooth Skin feature.

OPPO announced F5, selfie-focused smartphone in Philippines last month, now it has introduced the F5 Youth smartphone, a cheaper version of the phone. It has the same 6-inch full HD+ 18:9 full-screen display and comes with A.I. beauty recognition technology that scan 200 facial recognition spots to beautify a selfie shot perfectly and also offers bokeh effect along with Face unlock, but this has a 16-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera. OPPO has announced A79, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘A series’ in China. It has a 6-inch full HD+ 18:9 full-screen AMOLED display with 86% screen-to-body ratio and comes with a 16-megapixel front camera. Other specifications are similar to the OPPO F5, including a MediaTek Helio P23 SoC, 16-megapixel rear camera and face unlock feature. Huawei’s Honor brand already confirmed the announcement of its V10 smartphone with full-screen display and dual rear cameras on November 28th. Now the specifications of the smartphone with model number BKL-AL20 has surfaced on TENAA in China. It has also been listed on Geekbench. The design of the smartphone confirms fingerprint sensor on the front. Protruding dual rear cameras and unibody metal build with antenna lines on the top and the bottom part of the back.
OPPO launched the F5, a selfie-focused smartphone with 6-inch full HD+ 18:9 full-screen display and 20-megapixel front-facing camera with A.I. beauty recognition technology in India earlier this month. Today it has launched the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version of the smartphone in Black and also launched the Red Edition in partnership with Vogue on their 10th anniversary. Other specifications are similar to the original version.

OnePlus has released its first OxygenOS Open Beta 1 that brings Android 8.0 (Oreo) for the phone, as it had promised at the OnePlus 5T launch earlier this month. It brings all the Android Oreo features such as background limits that puts a big priority on improving user’s battery life, snoozing that lets users to snooze notifications to reappear at a later time and wide-gamut color for apps among many other things.
