Motorola has been expanding its retail footprint across India rapidly. Earlier this year it opened 50 new Moto Hubs in New Delhi, and recently in opened 25 stores in Kolkata and 50 stores in Mumbai. Today the company has announced the opening of 100 new Moto Hubs in Karnataka that includes 50 in Bengaluru, with a focus of strengthening retail store in the southern region. Sharp has introduced AQUOS S3 mini in China, even though the company did not introduce the rumored AQUOS S3. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display with a notch and 87.5% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 630 with 6GB RAM and Android 7.1 (Nougat) with Smile Ux, same as last year’s AQUOS S2, but this has a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 20-megapixel front camera with AI portrait selfies and has face unlock that can unlock the phone in 0.1 second by scanning 1024 facial points. Xiaomi introduced the Mi Store for Android in beta back in 2015, later it was launched through the Google Play Store for all the Android users. Now the company has introduced the Mi Store for iOS in India. This app lets you search, browse and purchase all Mi products, including phones, tablets and accessories. Meizu just announced E3, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘E Series’ in China, as it had promised. It has a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display, is powered by Snapdragon 636 with 6GB RAM, but it still runs Android 7.1 (Nougat) with Flyme OS 6.3 on top. It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Dual PD full-pixel focus for 0.026s fast focus along with a 20-megapixel secondary camera, to capture depth information for portrait shots and 2.5x loss-less zoom. Reliance Jio introduced the JioFi 3 back in 2016, which we unboxed in early 2017. Last year the company seems to have silently introduced JioFi 4 (JMR1140) and JioFi 5 (JMR814). Now the company has started selling JioFi JMR815, which should be JioFi 6. This measures 74 x 74 x 20mm and weighs just 95g with a 3000mAh, which is bigger than the previous JioFi models. Xiaomi started rolling out MIUI 9.5 Stable ROM for the Redmi Note 4 last week, later some users reported the update rolling out for Redmi 3S. Xiaomi today launched two new earphones – Mi Earphones, Mi Earphones Basic in India. The company already has several in-ear earphones in India, and it recently launched the Mi Noise Cancelling USB Type-C Earphones in the country.
